Join the team behind Tarafo Bay, a new luxury golf and beach resort coming to Boa Vista.
Tarafo Bay is an exciting new golf and beach resort being developed on the island of Boa Vista, Cape Verde. As the project continues to progress, we are looking for an enthusiastic, organised and personable Sales Administrator to join our team. Based at Toca da Garoupa beach bar in Sal Rei, this is a varied role offering the opportunity to become involved with Tarafo Bay from an early stage and play an important part in supporting our sales and marketing activity.
The role
Working closely with the Tarafo Bay team, you will provide day-to-day administrative and customer support, helping to ensure that enquiries are handled promptly, sales information is kept organised and potential customers receive a professional and welcoming experience. The role would suit someone who enjoys communicating with people, is confident using computers and digital platforms, and takes pride in being organised and reliable.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Responding to incoming sales enquiries by email, telephone and other communication channels.
- Following up potential customers and maintaining regular communication.
- Maintaining accurate customer and enquiry records within our CRM.
- Supporting the organisation and management of sales leads.
- Preparing and sending information to prospective customers.
- Arranging appointments, calls, meetings and site visits.
- Supporting the Tarafo Bay sales team with general administration and customer correspondence.
- Keeping sales information, documents and databases organised and up to date.
- Providing general administrative support to the wider team.
- Supporting Tarafo Bay at Toca da Garoupa
As the role is based at Toca da Garoupa, there will also be occassional opportunities to support Tarafo Bay-related activities at the beach bar. This may include welcoming visitors and potential customers, providing information about Tarafo Bay, supporting events and promotional activities, capturing photographs and content for marketing, and assisting with customer activities taking place at Toca da Garoupa. This provides a unique opportunity to combine sales administration with customer-facing and marketing experience, while working in a relaxed beachside environment in Sal Rei.
About you
We are looking for someone who is friendly, confident, organised and reliable, with excellent communication skills and a willingness to learn. You do not need extensive previous sales experience. We are more interested in finding someone who is enthusiastic, self-motivated, comfortable dealing with people and able to work independently.
Essential:
Fluent English and Portuguese.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Good computer skills and confidence using email, Microsoft Office and online systems.
Strong organisational and administrative skills.
A professional and approachable manner when dealing with customers.
Good attention to detail.
Reliable and able to work independently.
Comfortable working in a varied role where priorities may change.
Based in, or able to work from, Boa Vista.
Desirable:
French or Italian language skills.
Previous experience in sales, marketing, administration, tourism, hospitality or property.
Experience using CRM systems or customer databases.
An interest in property, tourism, hospitality or golf.
Working hours & salary
Location: Boa Vista, Cape Verde
Based at: Toca da Garoupa, Sal Rei
Hours: 4 hours per day, Monday–Friday
Working hours: Flexible, to be agreed at interview
Salary: 65,000 CVE per month / 780,000 CVE per annum
Start date: November 2026
